 For learning Chinese I am a English teacher in China and of course a student of Chinese. I am veryinterested in continuing to learn Chinese, especially the opportunity to write original texts, so my understanding of grammar is as active as my speaking and listening have become. I can print texts I have written and get them checked just as my english students do in English. I downloaded this program because it allows me to copy and translate texts from chinese websites and such and also to create documents in Chinese fonts.  Easy to convert characters to pinyin I just use it to convert Chinese characters to pinyin. I can't find a website provide the conversion with pinyin with stokes for tones instead of numbers, and put the correspoding pinyin on the top of each characters. This is the software that does what I want. However, US$99 is too expensive as I just use this little feature.

 This is great I find it really useful.
 On the first run using my Hp Ipaq phone, the Java program works well. However, if the phone is switch off and on again, the progam does not work at all from that time onwards. I felt disappointed after the initial euphoria.

The game has been a lot of fun. I am glad to get all the four character phrases included. My biggest concern is with the game play. I didnt figure out how to get to the competitive levels for quite some time. Then I thought I had to be the fastest to find the passport. Now I am trying to figure out how to actually find the passport. An introduction on the game play would be much appreciated.

Easy chinese dialogs review I am studiyng Chinese (only from 2 years) and I try to use the EChineseDialogs.I have found the application very well made but it's (in my opinion) for the people who knows the Chinese language more than a little bit.Moreover the dialogs seems to me too casual: I think that the student must see before some simple dialog whit the accent on the most used words and verbs (i.e. when, if, to be, to have...) so he can learn the general structure of the phrases. Could not download the database I successfully downloaded and instaled the dictionary shell, but when I tried to download the dictionary database it broke off just after receiving 48 kb.Maybe it was a problem with a slow intenret connection (happens all the time here in China),or maybe there was a problem on the server?
